Local Experience Day
Experience the authentic spirit of the island with the Local Experience Day at Camp Kovačine! Enjoy a day filled with local flavours, traditions and customs. Discover homemade products made by local producers, created with love and honouring island traditions, and enjoy the unique atmosphere with the sounds of the male klapa (a cappella group) Burin from the island of Cres.
- The event takes place on Wednesdays from 3 June to 9 September 2026
- Product presentation: 07:00 – 11:00 p.m.
- Klapa performance: at 09:00 p.m.

Ruta Workshop
The Ruta Workshop takes you on a creative journey through the tradition of working with wool in collaboration with the Ruta Cres Association. Take part in a wool flower felting workshop and get to know one of the most authentic parts of the island’s heritage. The workshop is intended for all ages, so the whole family can discover together the beauty and creativity of natural materials used by our ancestors for centuries.

Summer Dance School with Elio Bašan
Summer Dance School with Elio Bašan brings tropical rhythms and a true summer dance atmosphere to Camp Kovačine! Dance to the rhythms of salsa, bachata and cha-cha-chá at an open dance workshop led by Elio Bašan from the popular TV show Ples sa zvijezdama (Dancing with the Stars). The workshop is free and intended for all ages and dancers of all levels of experience – from beginners to advanced dancers.

Grill Parties
Grill parties are a favourite summer feature at Camp Kovačine, with the smells of barbecue, sunset and live music. Enjoy a delicious variety of grilled dishes and a relaxed atmosphere with a performance by Simply Acoustic Duo.

Paint & Wine
Paint & Wine transforms your holiday into a creative island experience by combining art, nature and flavours. Relax with a glass of wine, music and painting inspired by the beauty of the island of Cres. No previous painting experience is required – the artist will guide you step by step, and you just need to let your imagination run wild and enjoy the creative process.

Movie nights bring relaxed summer evenings with screenings of animated feature films for the whole family. Enjoy an entertaining open-air film programme and spend the evening soaking up the pleasant atmosphere of Camp Kovačine.

Sip & Create
Sip & Create – this jewellery-making workshop blends creativity, a relaxed summer atmosphere and a glass of sparkling wine into a unique evening experience. Create your own unique piece of jewellery under the guidance of the Magic Atelier team and spend an evening filled with creative energy, inspiration and good company.
The workshop is intended for people over 14 years of age due to working with UV resin.

About us – from our guests’ perspective
Incredible place for your rest. Variaty of accomodation options from tent spot 200m from beach till small houses 10m to water. Couple of restaurants, good supermarket, 2 dog friendly beaches, rent of boats, kayaks, sups. Nice promenade along a beach, pine and olive trees are everywhere. We will definitely visit the place again.
Nice quiet and beautiful campsite. Never seen sanitary facility (building 2) so clean on a campsite in the summer period. Good mini supermarket with okay prices. Easy walk to Cres took 20-25 minutes. Fantastic beaches and great snorkelling water. Top class campsite!
All you need to have good holiday in one place. A nice , clean beach. Along the beach there’s a promenade, going to center of city Cres. You can rent a motor boat, a kayak, a bicycle. You can learn how to dive. Do some shopping, fruits and vegatables or a croissant in the morning. Definitely recommended!
